Kayla is a choreographer and dancer in Los Angeles.  She recently choreographed Sam Tsui’s “Cameo” music video released last fall.   A dancer and singer since age eight, Kayla obtained her first part as Clara in Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular.  She later competed on Star Search, won dance titles at WCDE and NYCDA, and assisted on WCDE and Jump. After getting her Biology Bachelor's from UCSD, Kayla obtained representation in LA.  She was a main dancer in Frenship’s “Capsize” music video and ABC’s TV pilot Grace.  She has been seen in La La Land, Dancing With The Stars, Glee, X Factor, America’s Got Talent, CBS’s series Vegas, the 85th & 89th Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards with Neil Patrick Harris, and in the movies Jersey Boys and TED 2.  Kayla has danced for numerous artists including Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, Thomas Rhett, Fall Out Boy, Lindsey Sterling, Ariana Grande, John Legend, Calle 13, Frenship, and Cher.  She was honored to work with the company Shaping Sound for their first four years in Los Angeles, being involved in their performances on TV "All The Right Moves", Dancing With The Stars, stage, and tour.  Kayla has choreographed a PSA dance short for Wilmer Valderrama and the Unite 4 Good charity.  She was also the associate choreographer on the Paula Abdul and James Corden "Opposites Attract" reenactment, Loreal's commercial featuring J Lo, as well as for So You Think You Can Dance (on four seasons) and Dancing With The Stars, working with many choreographers such as Ray Leeper, Spencer Liff, Liz Imperio, Travis Wall, and Stacey Tookey.  Kayla is now on faculty with 24seven, a Break The Floor convention.  She has taught in Australia, Costa Rica, Mexico and all around the United States for various dance conventions.  She travels teaching Contemporary, Jazz and Musical Theater, and loves working with students and artists everywhere.
