A dancer and singer since age eight, Kayla is at the forefront of the next wave of creators. She has established herself in the art of storytelling through movement. Kayla obtained her first part as Clara in Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular. She later competed on Star Search, won dance titles at WCDE and NYCDA, and assisted on WCDE and Jump. After getting her Biology Bachelor's from UCSD, she obtained representation in LA.

Kayla has worked supporting high-profile artists such as Cher, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Lindsey Stirling, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Thomas Rhett, Fall Out Boy, John Legend, Calle 13, and Frenship. She appeared in the films La La Land, Jersey Boys, Ted 2, and in TV shows such as Glee, The Academy Awards, Dancing With The Stars, X Factor, and Vegas. Her stage work includes performances with Neil Patrick Harris, Seth MacFarlane, and Shaping Sound. Kayla was the lead female dancer in Frenship’s “Capsize” music video, and a main dancer in ABC’s TV pilot, Grace.

Kayla has worked as choreographer for the Ellen show ("tWitch please",  Walmart EV1 commercial, Qantas Airlines commercial), and NBC's World of Dance. She also choreographed music videos for Backstreet Boys, AJ McLean, 5 Seconds of Summer, Sam Tsui, Tessa Violet, Twin XL, Half the Animal, Christina Ricucci, and Schwaggers. Her previous work includes the opening number for the Belo Awards hosted by James Corden, a PSA dance short for Wilmer Valderrama’s “Unite4_Good” and music video for Chantal Kreviazuk. Kayla also creates choreography for unconventional projects that marry the expression and movement of musicians and dancers, as can be seen in Christophe Filippi’s “Continuum”. Kayla was the associate choreographer for Cher, and on Paula Abdul & James Corden’s “Opposites Attract” reenactment, a L’Oréal commercial featuring Jennifer Lopez, several seasons of So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, and America’s Got Talent.

As a dance instructor, Kayla has taught in Australia, Costa Rica, Mexico and all around the United States. She travels as a faculty member with 24seven dance convention, and loves working with students and artists everywhere.
